Megan, BGCGV Club Youth of the Year 2025

VUHS Senior Megan Mentzer came to the Boys & Girls Club to make friends, and found much more. She participated in leadership training and has gone on to be a part of many different civic and community projects. She is headed to college in the fall to major in music and she loves to spend time with family, friends and her pet chickens.

Shanon, Board Member

I volunteer for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Vergennes because it’s important to me that our youth have a safe and supportive environment where they can thrive. I believe that every youth should have access to resources and opportunities they need to succeed regardless of their background. I am fortunate to work alongside our CEO, Alicia, who shares the same goals and is equally dedicated to our community.
